Kanpur: These days, there is a lot of turmoil in the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, many tricks are being adopted by the parties and their candidates to woo the voters. A similar scene has also come to light from Kanpur. Where SP candidate for the by-election from Sisamau seat, Naseem Solanki, went to Vankhandeshwar temple on Diwali and worshipped Lord Shiva. But this has become a problem for her. Now a fatwa has been issued against Naseem Solanki regarding this matter. Her own community has comeout against her for the worship.
On Friday, November 1, the National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has issued a fatwa against SP candidate Naseem. Giving a statement on the whole matter, he said, “She should repent and recite Kalma. Since idol worship is forbidden in Islam, this step of Naseem Solanki is a sin in the eyes of Shariat. Therefore, she should take care of this from now on and recite Kalma for atonement.”
On the night of Diwali, SP candidate Naseem Solanki performed Puja in Vankhandeshwar temple and lit a lamp near the Shivalinga and prayed for her victory. Naseem also went to the Gurudwara after this. Now on one hand, where she tried to woo Brahmin and Dalit voters with this step, on the other hand, the Mustaqeem community seems to be angry with her for this step.
